Sales Manager for Feed Additives
Key Personal Attributes and Responsibilities:
Masters Degree in life sciences, preferentially in animal production and nutrition, veterinary medicine or equivalent through relevant industry experience.
Strong commercial attitude motivated by results and capable of working independently to achieve objectives.
Good technical knowledge of animal food and manufacturer production practices.
General knowledge of animal feed market patterns and conditions.
Experience in sales in the animal feed industry, preferentially working with technical feed additives is an advantage.
Responsible for product entry into the market and for development of sales while utilizing his/her own motivated and success driven approach to bring fully natural and organic product to the area of animal feed industry professionals.
Responsible for developing new business with strategic target accounts within the geographic area of responsibility.
Willing to travel up to approximately 75% of the time irregularly.
Self-motivated with enthusiasm for unique product, its market development and business growth of the company.
Excellent presentation skills.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written. A good working knowledge of written and spoken Spanish is a plus.
Excellent knowledge of common desktop applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Internet…)
Ability to develop positive working relationships with associates and employees.
Forecasting for budgets and delivering on objectives.
Meets or exceeds sales budget targets on a year-to-year basis.
